Work Environment/Location: ~ 50% of time at nonprofit location (address), 50% from home
Project Description: Please help us to improve our financial reporting! Today it takes us several days to pull together all of the information to create a quarterly financial picture of our operations. We need an expert to determine the appropriate sources of data, automate (as much as possible) the collection of data, and then document the process to complete the monthly financial statements.
Key Deliverables: A fully documented process to create a monthly P&L. Provide training/instruction to the accountant.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required: Accounting experience, knowledge of QuickBooks, basic understanding of nonprofit revenue rules are a plus. Strong communication skills.
Education/Experience: Bachelors in Accounting, or Bookkeeping certification. 5 years experience.
Resources: Desk space and a PC will be provided when working onsite.
