Tell us about your organization: We are a medium sized nonprofit with a mission to raise awareness of the environment and the actions individuals and corporations can take to reduce their footprint on this earth.
Project Title: Strategic Plan Development
Time commitment: Medium project, estimated hours between 80-120, to be completed within 4 months of start date. Flexible hours.
Work Environment/Location: ~ 50% of time at nonprofit location (address), 50% from home.
Project Description: Our nonprofit is looking to update our strategic plan, last completed 3 years ago. We are looking for someone to facilitate the strategic plan process and to write the plan.
Key Deliverables:
- Facilitate our leadership team through a documented process to produce a strategic (3 year) plan.
- Gain consensus on 2 key initiatives (with owners) to be implemented.
- Coordinate with CFO to develop the corresponding financial plan.
- Document the plan with accompanying support and presentation materials.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required: Strong marketing perspective, excellent oral and written communications skills, experience with strategic planning.
Education/Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing, general management or strategic planning.
Resources: Access to our leadership team individually and as a staff will be provided. Desk space and a PC will be provided when working onsite.
